PRAYING FOR ISRAEL
About
Many millions of believers from around the world will be praying for Israel from 7-28 May 2023. Throughout history there has never been such an outpouring of prayer for God’s chosen people and for the fulfilling of his purposes in the holy land. On the day of Pentecost (28th May) over 130 million people will pray for Jerusalem.
God moving in Israel is deeply connected with the unfolding of God’s plan of salvation for the world, including the gospel being preached to every people group and Jesus’ second coming. Israel and the Middle East will increasingly become the centre of the global spiritual battle and the world’s focus according to the prophetic scriptures, as we move into the times of the end.

How
During each prayer hour for Israel, the prayer will be interspersed with worship. Each day we will take a different passage of scripture that spells out something of God’s heart, plans or covenant for the nation of Israel and we will pray through that passage. We will also take 2 different subjects each day that will be a focus of our prayer. For Example, for Jews living around the world, for Peace in Israel, for the nation’s economy, etc.
You don’t need to be an expert on Israel or in prayer to take part in these prayer times.
