Mission

Mission is at the heart of King’s Church. Within Beverley, the church and its members are active in running groups Alpha courses, community groups,  the King’s Youth Bus and other projects with the aim of reaching those outside of the church.

Outside of Beverley, we are actively involved in a network of Charismatic/Pentecostal churches called “Pursuing His Presence” that meets regularly together to worship, pray, seek God and contend together for revival.   The area of focus is the towns and villages of the East Yorkshire.

John Beynon, our senior minister is also the CEO of Jacob’s Well, the aid organisation that is based on the same site.  This gives the church active involvement with projects in places like Ukraine, Burkina Faso, Kenya, Ghana, Syria and other places.

We are acting as a sending to church to one of our former assistant pastors, Jill Walker, who has moved to Scotland.  To read about Jill Walker’s ministry of prayer, evangelism and church planting in Fife, Scotland, click HERE

We currently also have one of our Church members and former leader who is engaged in long-term mission with World Horizons in North Africa.

As a church we set aside a significant proportion of our income  to finance local and international mission.
